One of my projects this was me boom operating. It was intense but it was so much fun working with amazing people and Ronnie, the sound mixer. She was amazing and was very keen for me to help.

The first day was the craziest one. Luckily for me, I was boom operator so all I did was set up the boom. Call time was early which sums up the production life. Though I was waking up earlier than usual, I still enjoyed it and every time I woke up, I can't wait to be on set. I didn't feel like I was being told what was happening much but still I got to finally figure out what is happening which is good.

The second day was so much calmer and relaxing. We knew our routine. It was calmer which made it more relaxing and fun to work. I felt like I wasn't as afraid as I was with asking what the shots were but now looking back, maybe it isn't necessary for the me to ask. Where the camera is based, it's just my job to get sound as best I can.

Third day. I was so looking forward to it. That meant it was the last day! Was a great day since it was also calm but we had to finish more shots today so was getting a little crazy. At the end of the day, we all exchange contacts and I had to leave early because of work.

I enjoyed everyday of this production and looking forward to see the final cut!

Here's for TROOPERS!
