It was an interesting film to watch. It was a very creative film telling a story of a writer writing this play based in a town called Asteroid. We are living in with the characters which were created by the writer. We watch them experience figuring out what is the story and where is it going. The end of the film, it was an open ending and we are not able to know the full story of this play because the writer has died in a car crash leaving the play to be cancelled and forgotten. I was impressed with the choice of the screen ratios. When the host was talking, it was a square ratio like a TV. A film involving different kinds of ratios is very fun and creative.
The performance was like a stage play. It didn't feel like we are watching a movie but we are watching the behind the scenes of a play. It was interesting to see the characters story lines and how they are portrayed.
The camera movement was fun to watch. It was one of my favourites. It is filled with many angles in scenes such as the beginning scene of the train running down. It is used mostly wide shots and it made fun and interesting.
Overall, I did enjoy the film and it would be a good to film for filmmakers to watch as a research. I also like how different directors have a unique way of there movies such as Wes Anderson who has very bright colours which make his films stand out more.
