Clichés

When it comes to writing scripts and finding stories, the most struggle that I go through is avoiding clichés. This is the hardest and most annoying part of writing scripts. Every time I find a story that I'm excited about, I tell my friends and they say along the lines of

" It reminds me of that film"

Or

We were getting to ready for our Film project 2. I already had an idea of a story when one of the guys in my class, went first telling the story, it was almost as if we copied each other even though we never even discussed it before. It's so annoying! However, the more I write and read books, I found that so far, we can't avoid clichés.

You probably feel annoyed and all of a sudden unmotivated. But, remember this, make it your story. You'll have a hell of a time trying to avoid it but for me, if you write a story it is your story.

Stories are made from experiences, we write and tell stories our own way in a world that we created for ourselves. Just write and tell your story.
