Is Tomorrow filmmaker course worth it? How has it helped me to be a better filmmaker.

I bought an online filmmaking course which has helped me produced my first short film. At the beginning of 2023, I wanted to improve my behind the scenes skills and produce work which would help both on screen and off screen. I was doing research about filming for my first short film and I encountered this course, The Tomorrow's Filmmaking course. I found a lot of other courses but did not quite catch my eye.

The course involves with many courses and roles to work on such as Directing, shooting a product video, real estate videos, wedding videos, lighting, and even shooting your first short film. I found this course to be very helpful and encourage me to not push myself back with the lack of equipement.

When I started my first short film, I was very nervous because I always wanted to make a short film but I always told myself I need a good camera to film and a crew to work with. I took the short film course and realised that I don't need a fancy camera to make a short film, all I need is to start making the film. I used my I-phone 11 to shoot my scenes using Filmicpro application as my camera. I paid 2.99/ week for the camera. I was able to buy a tripod, lens and lighting. These are the main equipement to film a short film.

I then started writing. What the course helped me realise is I do not need a lot of money to make a short film, all I need, is the discipline and dedication to make the film. I worked with my budget and work with what I have got which is my dorm. I decided to produced a short film which I would be able to work around my time avalibility. I wrote the script, edited it then I started the shooting.

With the help of Tomorrows filmmaker, it has helped me gained more strength in myself and thought me that I am able to do work by myself, you just need to start filming and putting your hands on.
