Kodak Diaries: Pre-Production

Last year it was revealed that there was an opportunity to work on a Kodak commercial. I put my name forward to pitch on it. Here we are, I'm going to direct a commercial.

I decided to start this diary so that I can look back easily and see how my experiences on set were... and how hectic things were.

Pre-Production so far has been not so productive as a team I feel. Some bumpy roads along the way. We are not able to shoot on the 25th because of actors availability and right now, not sure when is available to shoot next but likely February.

I have discussed the shots with my DOP and we are on the same page. Issues now are that their is some misunderstanding about shooting dates between departments at my school. We had a kit practice on Thursday which was fun. We'll be using the SR3, one which I have loaded before.

It is a pretty stressed right now but it will get better and I will enjoy the the process.
