Movie Review: Mission Impossible Death Reckoning (2023)
Another mission for the Impossible and it was tiring. The franchise been going for years and is getting too much. Although, it looks like the ending is near and we might be looking at the ending of the franchise after this film. A film produced and starred by Tom Cruise. Directed by Christopher McQuarrie. Written by Bruce Geller, Erik Jendresen and Christopher McQuarrie. Starring Tom Cruise as Ethan, Hayley Atwell as Grace, Ving Rhames as Luther, Simon Pegg as Benji, Rebecca Ferguson as Lisa, Pom Klementieff as Paris, Cary Elwes as Denlinger and Vanessa Kirby as The White Widow.
My first impressions is that I knew it was going to be another movie with these cool stunts and the plot of betrayal. The hunger to survive, to be the greatest and to save. I overall liked all the stunts which were involved. The performance was of course, great. Having great actors joining the screen together was a joy to watch. Tom cruise having a part in behind the scenes was great. It meant that we can see what he actually is involved on the screen. The performance were emotional, fun and intense.
The script shows the emotional attachment that the protagonist had towards his job and his loyalty towards his friends.
The camera work was a masterpiece. It was fun and exciting. It made the scenes feel real. Overall, it had a lot of goods but the plot is just him trying to live up for the guilt he has. I felt like the franchise has inspired a lot young men to be brave a to take sacrifices but now it is time to rest. It has made it's mark but it is now getting tiring and too much.
