Movie Review: Argylle(2024)

A fun and a bit of a weird one. Argylle, a film directed by Matthew Vaughn, written by Jason Fuchs and starring Henry Cavill, Daniel Singh, Dua Lipa, Ariana DeBose, John Cena, Bryce Dallas Howard and Richard E. Grant . Filled with amazing shots and ideas to the screen.

Before I went to watch it, my friend already saw it and he told me I shouldn't go there sober. Well, I went sober. The film was crazily weird but amazing in my opinion. Packed with action and it just kept on going. I loved it but it's not at the stages where I would watch it again but I would watch the next chapters.

The acting was great, it didn't get me very emotional but the overall performance was good. Loved Henry Cavil at the ending. Made me laugh out loud.

It was very well done with the visuals. I loved the idea of the smoke and you can tell it took a lot of work and time. Even it's CGI, I still found that to be very impressive and smart. Was one of my favourite scenes. I laughed out loud for some and the highlight was the cat.

I really admire the directing style. It's gives me false alarm and thinking it will not happen but it does. I loved it. Makes me excited for the upcoming films from the book the author/ secret agent.
