The perfect Valentines day, as a singleton. The film filled with Laugthers and balanced out the comedic side. Bridget Jones returns with a banger and probably the funniest one out of the 4. A film based on the novel by Helen Fielding directed by Michael Morris, written by Helen Fielding, Dan Mazer and Abi Morgan. Starring Renée Zellweger.

The filmed lived up to my all expectations. It was the funniest in scenes and the writing was just amazing. The comedic entering and the drama Bridget goes through was just perfect! I had a fantastic time at the Everyman is Baker street which I felt made it so much more special (Also valentines on my own). I also loved how this time Bridget is more mature. It makes me so happy and also nice to see Bridget slowly becoming and realising what she really wants and what she really needs to do for herself and her children.

I just felt for her so much and Bridget makes me so excited to be making films like this and write films like this. The way she developed and how quickly it went straight to the point.

The performances were all perfect! the deliveries were so good and made me laughed with all of the jokes. I just didn't really wanted it to be over. The ending scenes were beautiful, especially when she takes the kids to the hill and let's go of the balloons. I thought that's such a beautiful scene of letting go and celebrating Mark Darcy's birthday.
