In the biggest decision and insight of who will become the new Pope. Conclave is a film directed by Edward Berger written by Peter Straughan. Based on the book by Robert Harris Starring Ralph Fiennes, Jacek Koman, Lucian Msamati, Stanley Tucci, John Lithgow.

First Impression- When I first saw the trailer, it did hook me in the sense of it's a fresh film that I don't watch so much. It hid unexpected plots and a different side of becoming Pope. The film was clear on who's story we follow and his intentions towards the position.

The tone the entire film was intense and gave hints through the film that it continued the drama and the stakes of this historic moment. It gave an insight on how the process worked. Watching it, it was unexpected because you'd think being a Pope or part of the religion in that sort, you'd behave and have clean background. Conclave shows that isn't the case, it was scandalous and jaw dropping in parts. Since we were also following one character for the entire film, we are in his shoes and finding out news the same time as he is which for me made it so much better.
