Movie Review: Despicable Me 4(2024)
I haven't done one of theses in a while. The classic animated film which premiered it's first film in 2010. A franchise bought by ILLUMINATION. It is a comforting, fun and there is a lot of action. Directed by Chris Renaud and Patrick Delage. Written by Mike White and Ken Daurio.
The franchise has been a big hit from kids to adults. It's fun to watch and not heavy. It teaches us a lot and we see Gru's development through the film and I have recognize a couple of things in him.
I didn't feel connected to the film this time. Through all of the film in the franchise, I feel this does not hit the same. Maybe because the moment got ruined from kids who can't sit down properly and were making a lot noise. It was so annoying and frustrating. It was very inconsiderate of them and it ruined the experience a bit as well.
The storyline of him and his younger child is very touching. You can see he's the mini version of Gru. He loves to be a Villain.
The story isn't different to the others but we see Gru becoming a father to his new born son. The story follows Gru protecting his family from his Nemesis Maxime.
