Movie Time: Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol.3

Guardians of the Galaxy was released in May 2023. A film which is part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The film stars Chris Pratt as Peter Quill/ Star Lord, Zoe Saldana as Gamora, Dave Bautista as Drax the Destroyer, Vin Diesel as Groot, Bradley Cooper as Rocket, Will Pouter as Adam Warlock, Sean Gunn as Kraglin, Karen Gillian as Nebula, Pom Klementieff as Mantis, Sylvester Stallone as Stakar Ogord and Elizabeth Debicki as Ayesha. The movie itself is mainly focusing on Rocket's past and what he has been through. It also opens up a topic about animal cruelty which is where Rocket comes from. Rocket  is being experimented by The Evolutionary portrayed by Chukwudi Iwuji. Rocket became very intelligent which then he escape the experiment by himself.

Watching the trailer I did not quite catch that the movie mainly was about Rocket. It did, however, showed the beginning of the end of the Guardians of the Galaxy. The movie was focusing on saving Rockets life, there was no other plot to help spice the movie up other than Peter Quill meeting Gamora again and trying make her remember their past relationship. The good thing about this relationship ending the way it did was there was no way this Gamora could remember her relationship with Peter Quill. Throughout the movie, it introduced a couple of new planets which did not confused me. It was easy to follow on what is happening.

The on screen Chemistry the actors have made the scenes more entertaining to watch. The delivering was fast and gave a sense of humour cutting with the intense storyline. It was able to take the audience on a roller coaster of emotions.

The camera angles gave the powerful sense of teamwork and emotion.

Details of through out the film were well detailed and showed how hard the behind the scenes worked.  I would also like to mention the credit scene in the end. It can be seen that Peter Quill is wearing a shirt which has Yondu and other people on it. This is what I am impressed about Marvel, they hide these details which made the movie more fun in finding these easter eggs. Although the movie has given an ending for the originals, the film could have at least included a plot which would lead the new gang to being part of the the new MCU phrase and open up the plot of the new phrase more.
