A wanna be Romcom. With the drama behind the scenes about a fall out between director and producer/ actor, a film adapted by the book written by Colleen Hoover about domestic violence. Directed and starred by Justin Baldoni. Along side him stars Blake Lively known for Gossip Girls, Jenny Slate and Brandon Sklenar.

The overall film felt like it was trying to be a romcom even though it wasn't. The film was trying to push narrative of a romance between Lively and Baldoni. However, the real narrative of the story is to discuss the domestic violence and spread the awareness of it which was not clear.

The first half of the film was pushing the narrative of a romcom. It did however, get interesting during the last half where we experienced the domestic violence and how women experience. The cuts flashback from the incidents were brutal and painful to see.

The film Could've made the movie aiming towards domestic violence more.

The performance could've gone even further however, During the scene where she is about to get r@pe, it did not feel like she went through a horrible time. I would expected more shaken and terrifying performance.
