An all Asian star film bringing the emotion of the pressure to being perfect. A film which pulled the ultimate humour, racism and friendship. A film directed Adele Lim by Written by Cherry Chevapravatdumrong, Teresa Hsiao and Adele Lim. Starring Debbie Fan as Jenny Chen, Kenneth Liu as Wey Chen, Annie Mumolo Mary Sullivan, David Denman Joe Sullivan, Ashley Park as Audrey, Sherry Cola as Lolo, Stephanie Hsu as Kat, Belle Zhang as young Lolo, Lennon Yee as young Audrey and Sabrina Wu as Dead eye.

It took me through the root, seeing other Asians experience racism with their appearance. Based on the way Asian family view girls getting pregnant in there teens before marriage, it's a humiliation towards there family and ancestors.

I had a discussion on this particular topic with my mother... and Yes, she told me that if I ever get pregnant before marriage, to never call her " Mum" and she would abandon me. So I would say this movie is pretty accurate. The topic surrounding every Asian whether you are Chinese, Korean and Japanese, you have similar appearances and Europeans or Americans would confuse.

We are heavily influenced by the west and which being said, they are certain actions which is heavily shown to be influenced by the west.

The performance was hilarious and crazy. Everything the characters says, the action, the delivery and the meaning behind each character was a true and heart felting feeling. The delivery and the chemistry the actors had between each other bought out the emotion more with the broken relationship and the long term relationship that the characters had.

The script was epic and a masterpiece. It dig deep down into the emotion of the characters different interests, bonding them together and helping each other overcome loneliness and gave the fun and crazy side of life. Most importantly, the film taught us to not take life too serious, have fun, life is short.

Overall , I do give a 7/10. Throughout the film, there is always a mention of sexual topics which got a bit annoying in the end. With the film carrying the emotion and the craziness, it did make it a unique and fun film to watch and it would be a film I would rewatch again.
