The film showed greatly how Napoleon loved France and Josephine. With the film violence and how they are not scared to go with the extreme shows how brutal wars were. I liked how they are not scared to go extreme but there were certain scenes where I found it very grim. The performance was a masterpiece. The film was touching in some ways for his love to Joseline.

The story telling focused on Napoleon's time to become emperor and him leading France. It was very violent for me and I did look away a couple of times. My favourite scene was the Battle of Waterloo. It was amazing seeing the battle taking place on a big screen.

What I got of Napoleon from the film is his love is France. He is a man who knows how to fight for what he loves and he does not let go of those who hurt the things he love.
