Movie Review: Nosferatu( 2025)

My first horror film in the cinema after over a decade, Nosferatu was something unexpected and weird but holds many impressive things along the way. A film directed by Robert Eggers Written by Robert Eggers, Henrik Galeen, Bram Stoker and starring Lily-Rose Depp, Nicholas Hoult, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Bill Skarsgard.

My first impression when I first saw the trailer was like " Okay, this isn't my film" The trailer terrified me. It spooked me. Watching it at the everyman also made it even better.

The film started off with my expectation of it scaring the living hell out of me. The cinematography was beautiful and Lily Rose Depp did an amazing job. However, I felt like the whole film it was filled with not even horror but just unexpected things going on. I didn't feel scared like how I felt from the trailer. I was disappointed by it but also glad it wasn't that scary from someone who hates horror. It just became boring and a bit too much half way and I was looking forward for it to be over.
I think overall, the cinematography as well as the performances made this fill ann interesting one to watch. The visuals also was really nice to see since I don't think I've seen many with these kind of grades but I really appreciate it!
