Movie Review: Pride & Prejudice
A Period Romance drama adapted by the novel from Jane Austen. A film filled with family, confession and love. Directed By
Joe Wright Written By Deborah Moggach, Jane Austen and Emma Thompson. Starring Keira Knightley, Talulah Riley, Rosamund Pike, Jena Malone, Matthew Macfadyen and Rupert Friend.
The performance were all touching. However, I leaned in more towards Elizabeth. Her laughter that she bought to the screens was pure and natural. However, her smile contrasts with her side of independence when it comes to love or marrying. We see her during the dances, she looks around seems isolated by the idea but she is happy seeing the people she cares about enjoy their time. The way it was shot and portraying each characters personality through the shots and lighting.
The script was fun and filled with strong portrayals through the film. The story flowed and was on point with the plot. It did not drive in to any different directions. I enjoyed it and I was engaged through the film.
