When I first thought about them doing a musical, I was pretty excited to see how they make out of this. However, there were a lot of criticism during the festivals. I didn't try to take on their critics before watching it.

When I was watching it. The beginning was enjoyable to watch since it started off as an animation of the Joker. The music became a bit too much and it lost focus a bit. However the musical/singing part of the film to show that Arthur lives in a fantasy world bought me Chicago vibes. I liked the idea of that but I just felt they could have focus more on the point of him fighting with the court. It was getting too musically and tiring. The more it went through the more it lost the plot.

Overall I felt it was trying to be something else and trying to put in so many storylines that it forgot what the main one was.
