Released to the cinemas in 2023. An American Fiction movie telling the story of robots stuck on the human world and is wanting to save their planet. A film Directed by Steven Caple Jr. who is well known for Creed II (2018) and his debut feature film, The Land (2016). Written by Joby Harold, Darnell Metayer and Josh Peters. Starring Anthony Ramos as Noah, Dominique Fishback as Elena, Lauren Vélez as Mrs. Diaz, Dean Scott as Kris, Peter Cullen as Optimus Prime, Ron Perlman as Optimus Primal, Peter Dinklage as Scourge and Michelle Yeoh as Airazor. The film scores a 6.6/10. I had the opportunity to watch the film and this is what I thought....

I am not usually interested in watching the Transformers but since I had the Limitless membership with ODEON, I decided to. The film itself was basic. Nothing special or eye catching. I haven't watch a single Transformer film and after watching this, it didn't make me want to watch the previous films. I went into the cinema expecting a huge audience but in fact, there was only three people in the cinemas. I was shock since I thought people would go crazy for this film but what I experience shocked me. The film lacked the humour and the ability to pull the audience in. Having voice overs from stars like Michelle Yeoh as Airazor, Pete Davidson as Mirage, Colman Domingo as Unicron, Peter Dinklage as Scourge and Ron Pearlman as Optimus in the franchise and failing to attract audience meaning that something is wrong. I didn't see much marketing for this film as well which might be the cause. It did have some jump scare moments. The voice acting and CGI was good and didn't bother me too much.

The camera work did not have any crazy techniques. They could have done more with the angles and could have done pretty cool positions to make it more fun and thrilling. The script was fine. It felt like a conversation and didn't bother me so much.

The film overall for me I'd give it a 6/10 giving credit to the CGI, and the voice acting. It wouldn't be a film where I would watch again or would go back and watch the previous Transformers. The ending did give a hint that the gang will go and work for a secret service agency and that will be the beginning of maybe something which is bigger and better.
