When I read scripts or even watch movies, I find it really interesting with how we sometimes sees the same plot as a different film but, somehow, they are told differently. Giving an example of Pride and Prejudice and Sense and Sensibility.

Both stories by Jane Austen however, the stories follow the same topic. From the protagonists objections of not interested in marriage, they have the same personalities and objections but the way they are told makes it such a difference. The way the antagonist has the same personality traits and consequences. However, there is one thing that makes these traits not as bad as we think.

In Pride and Prejudice, her father is still alive and we see and learn their close relationship that shifts the whole relationship and the tone of the entire film, we don't notice much about the similarity of the plot. Where as in Sense and Sensibility, from the beginning of the film, we learn the lost of their father and from this scene, we learn the stakes of the family's struggle with lack of fortune and is forced to move out in to the country side and learn to cook and clean and look after themselves.

The two films have different tones and pacing in the film which makes both films a fun and enjoyable watch.
