Things To Do In London

Things To Do In London

London, one of the most diverse city's in the world. Filled with many cultures and people. Although the transport here can take you around, you can also literally walk from a station to another station in less than 10 minutes. Here are the things you should do when you come and visit London.

1.Walk around the city

I can't tell you this enough, walking around London gives you the best vibes. For you can walk from Embankment to Charing cross to Leicester Square and from there you can go to Oxford Circus and Tottenham Court Road. They are all walking distance. Well, it also depends where you are coming from.

I usually get a day ticket where I pay £10.00. The tickets are usually £15.00 but I get a discount because I have railcard that gives the students less price.

If you are a student studying here for more than two years, get a railcard.

2.See The museum

There are so many museums to go around London. The best is it's free! You have an option to donate money but that is completely up to you.

I recommend booking just one museum per day. Depending on how long it is to look around. Because I tried to book the science museum and the national gallery the same day which was pretty stupid. To look around the Science museum took approx. around 3 hours. Which is a very long time. However, if you have the whole day and won't be see the all the things there, you can go to other museums the same day.

3.Eat independent café or restaurants

Where should I eat? Well... there are so many independent café and restaurants around London. One's that have amazing food. You are also going to expect the prices to be a bit pricey but you are paying in London and for good food.

I went to crepeaffaire ( not very independent but still good) and it was amazing. I have this Mexican chicken crepe. It was really nice. Maybe if you want to dig into the English spirit, go to a pub, order a pint and watch the football.

4.Go watch plays

In the UK, theatre is commonly know for plays. Where as in America, it is know for the cinema.

You may think watching films is magical, go to a play in London and you'll find something very magical. Seeing the people perform live on stage is amazing. I went to watch the MouseTrap. A play that has been going for almost a century. I enjoyed it. I went to see Pretty Women play, it was good. Although one of the actors was trying to scream her lungs out, I still enjoyed it.

The magical of theatre and art is in the centre of London. But, no matter where you are, if you love art, it will make it's way to you and stay in.

London has many backgrounds. It's a city so there will be places to avoid.

Have fun! Life's too short to be stopping at one place.
